The Beguiled - 4/5

After a few duds following 'Marie Antoinette', Coppola returns in great form in this feminist retelling of apparently a 1971 Clint Eastwood dud! With some amazing performances from Kirsten Dunst and Nicole Kidman, cinematography that is just serene and plain beautiful, this movie was just outstanding. Fans of Sofia Coppola (like myself) would love this..it's just very her! I would not recommend this to everyone, as it's a unique taste required to appreciate such artistry.
