Alien: Covenant - 2.5/5

Fans of the franchise may be content with this film, but it was truthfully a very lame production. There was probably 20 minutes worth of quality Alien type feel to it, while the rest of the film had no direction. Billy Crudup's flat performance as the captain was reminiscent of Paris Hilton in 'House of Wax.' Katherine Waterston's Daniels character tries hard to be Ripley and fails. And there was this weird homoerotic storyline with 2 Fassbenders..seriously! Anyway..wait for it on DVD!
