The Coen Brothers and Clooney do a decent job of not giving away too much plot in the film's trailer. The darkly comical take on a murder case with elements of racial commentary, make Suburbicon a good production. It's good - but not great. There have been better Coen brothers movies (it's hard to say which one's the best, but this is far from it). The storyline was engaging and you find yourself wanting more (especially with the racial commentary), but what fails is the lacklustre performances from Matt Damon and Julianne Moore and the expectation of a Clooney/Coen brothers movie. Finally, while I still enjoyed it, I would not strongly recommend you see this in the cinemas - it is more of a DVD/streaming service type movie.
